Terms of Service

By using CarVouch you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. The service

CarVouch provides AI-assisted vehicle pre-viewing analysis. Reports are advisory only and are not a substitute for a professional inspection or full vehicle history check.

2. Credits and payments

• AI report credits are purchased in packs. One credit unlocks one full AI narrative report per vehicle.
• Full Vehicle Checks are purchased in packs. One check unlocks one Experian-backed provenance report per vehicle (plus bundled MOT/AI where included).
• AI credits and Full Vehicle Checks never expire while your account remains active.
• Purchases are non-refundable once completed, except where a report fails due to a technical fault on our side — we will restore the credit or check used.
• All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

2a. Full Vehicle Check & Experian Data Guarantee

By purchasing a Full Vehicle Check pack or running a check against your balance, you agree that:

• Provenance data is supplied by Experian via our API partner and is subject to accuracy, coverage and timing limits in Experian’s databases.
• Your check includes Experian’s AutoCheck Data Guarantee only on the tier we sell (currently £20,000 financial limit / 12 months from check date on our default bundle).
• You have read and accept Experian’s binding guarantee terms: https://www.experian.co.uk/data-guarantee and our summary at /data-guarantee.
• Claims are made under Experian’s process, not a separate CarVouch insurance policy.
• CarVouch is not HPI® and is not affiliated with HPI Ltd or Solera.

When you tick the confirmation box before running a check, you confirm acceptance of these terms for that check.

2b. Third-party data liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CarVouch is not liable for errors, omissions or delays in data supplied by DVLA, DVSA, Experian, OpenAI or other third parties. Your remedy for covered provenance errors on a Full Vehicle Check is via the Experian Data Guarantee (where eligible), not an open-ended claim against CarVouch.

3. Acceptable use

You must not use CarVouch to:

• Scrape, copy, or redistribute data from our reports.
• Resell or sub-license access to the service.
• Submit false or misleading registration numbers.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures.

4. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is". We make no warranty that reports are accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. See our full Disclaimer.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CarVouch shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service or reliance on any report.

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Contact us at with any questions.
